X Bot Cleaner is designed with privacy as its foundation. Unlike other extensions, we believe your data should stay in your browser, always. All processing happens locally - no external servers, no tracking, no analytics.

Follower profiles and classifications never leave your browser. All data is stored locally.

How X Bot Cleaner Works
🌐 100% Local Processing
All follower data capture, classification, and removal operations happen directly in your browser using Chrome's extension APIs. No external servers are involved in processing your follower data. The extension only interacts with X/Twitter's interface to automate manual actions you would perform yourself.
🔒 Browser Local Storage
Your follower profiles, classifications (Real/Bot), and metrics are stored only in your browser's local storage or Chrome sync storage (if enabled). Nothing is uploaded to any external servers or cloud services. You have full control over your data.
🚫 No Third-Party Tracking
X Bot Cleaner doesn't include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking libraries. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar services. The extension operates completely independently.
Permissions We Request
🌐 Access to X/Twitter Website
Required to access your X/Twitter followers list and perform automated actions (scrolling, capturing profiles, removing followers). The extension only works on x.com and twitter.com domains. This permission is necessary for the core functionality of the extension.
💾 Storage Access
Used to store your follower data, classifications, and metrics locally in your browser. Data is stored using Chrome's storage API and never transmitted externally. Optional Chrome sync can be enabled to sync your classifications across devices.
🔄 Active Tab Access
Required to interact with X/Twitter's interface when you activate the extension. The extension only accesses tabs when you explicitly use its features. It doesn't monitor or track your browsing activity.
About the Developer
X Bot Cleaner is developed by Ibrahim Uzun, an individual developer based in Istanbul, Turkey. This is not a corporate product with complex privacy policies and data collection schemes.
As an individual developer, I believe in creating software that respects user privacy and works exactly as advertised. X Bot Cleaner reflects my personal commitment to privacy-first software development.

Given that X Bot Cleaner doesn't collect any data, there's very little that could change about this privacy policy. However, if significant changes are made to the extension that would affect your privacy, this policy will be updated accordingly.
